We really progressed this week. Liam began his 14th week struggling to roll over with more control. He can do it, but not as quickly as he wants to. He worked and worked, crying out sometimes when he couldn't do it. But Little Man is persistent, and at the end of the week he was able to figure out that arm that kept getting stuck and rolled from back to stomach and back again. It is so amazing that Liam has to learn everything. His arms, legs, and hands are out of his control right now. He is getting better and better all the time, and John and I are so proud.
Another thing Liam really got better with this week was reaching out for things. Why just this morning, I was tickling his stomach and he grabbed my glasses. I'm sure they made a fine afternoon snack.
Since the semester is so busy, with John's comprehensive exams in May, we decided to have family day on Sundays. We don't do chores or work, we just play games, explore Madison, and catch up on the week. For our first week, we went to the Olbrich Garden Conservatory and showed Liam around. I can't wait when he can see and understand the birds, waterfalls, and plants.
We're so proud of Liam and so proud of each other. The days fly by, but I am grateful for the time that we have. I am so elated to have Liam in our lives. Much love, more in week fifteen.
