Wonderful week. Liam really started moving these past few days. Now, when we set him down on his back he rolls over immediately. This is great fun for him, since he is able to reach his favorite toys on his own. It's a little scary for us since his new favorite sleeping position is on his stomach!
This week I started making some baby food for Liam. He is doing really well with his rice cereal, so we tried a little banana and sweet potato. John thinks he likes the spoon best, but sweet potatoes seem to be a runner up. I am still trying to figure out how much to give him and when - lunch or dinner time? a few tablespoons or a lot? I think parenthood really is making decisions and then second guessing them all the time. Nap now or later, eat now or later, bath everyday or every other? Hopefully we'll do right by Liam. Lord knows we're giving it our all.
What a ham.
This is Liam's favorite toy, Sophie the giraffe. It's the only thing that he seems to prefer. Lately we've been able to set her down a few feet away and he will roll and roll until he can reach her and shove her feet or face into his mouth. When he starts crawling at five months, we'll have to give all the credit to Sophie.
Much love. More next week.
